CAW 2015 resources includes BEYOND, a video with a focus on Asian ministries serving our communities in multiple ways.
Over time, outreach to Asian and southeast Asian populations has produced soldiers and officers now engaged in thriving ministries through corps, outposts, and fellowships. During a Sunday meeting, it would be quite common to witness a multiethnic and multicultural gathering of believers with the benefit of multilingual interpretations. Asian ministries have extended graceful service to immigrants and to refugees. They have been intentional in engaging families and developing outreach to youth. Often extending their reach beyond their own cultural group–whether Korean, Filipino, Laotian, Hmong or Burmese- Asian ministries are a multicultural tapestry, enriching the Army’s life with vibrant faith and humble service – all to the glory of God.
