Christians engaged in and passionate about transformational urban ministry who attend will find this event to be the single most inclusive gathering of resources for ministry in the city.

This will be an exciting conference with top notch speakers, artists, and workshops all focused on one of the most important topics of our time:  Economic Justice.  This conference which crosses multiple disciplines places SCUPE along with Interfaith Worker Justice at the center of the global economic justice conversation and continues to demonstrate our leadership in the field of Urban Ministry and Social Justice.  We are planning by our leadership and the overall design of the Congress to model partnership, cooperation, and innovative approaches to contemporary urban challenges facing our cities here at home and abroad.

What you will find at the Congress on Urban Ministry:

Renowned Speakers who will challenge, transform, and inspire the way you think about economic justice in our communities.

Engaging Worship that merges prophetic preaching with scripture and song that will fill you.

Inspiring Sacred Text Study that will reframe your thinking about the economic justice issues in communities and networks within your religious tradition and beyond. Seminars guided by leaders will give you the skills, tools and motivation to turn inspiration into action in your community.

A Call to Action declaring with one voice urban leaders, clergy, and theologians to build just economies in our congregations & communities at home and abroad.
