The multicultural ministries staff recently conducted two days of training in Cross-cultural Communication and Conflict Resolution for all front office employees, store managers, assistant mangers, and beneficiaries of the St. Louis ARC. The sessions were designed to develop awareness of how our culture influences how we communicate, our approaches to conflict, and conflict resolution. The goal of the sessions was to build cultural competence in order to have more effective interactions in workplaces and community settings that are increasingly culturally diverse.
